NAK on the ball as the Americans ride into town

Coesia Group, the automated machinery group that operates 50 manufacturing sites in 27 countries and which is wholly owned by the Italian philanthropist Isabella Seràgnoli, recently completed the acquisition of Oystar North America, renaming Oystar as R.A Jones & Co. In the UK, Oystar Packaging Technologies becomes R. A Jones & Co (UK).

R.A Jones & Co’s heritage traces back to two pioneers in US packaging machinery, R.A Jones & Co founded in 1905 in Covington, Kentucky and KartridgPak/Packaging Technologies, founded in 1946 in Chicago. Today R. A Jones has revenues of over USD 200 million (£132m), over 550 employees and more than 70 patents worldwide.

For the first visit of US management to their newly acquired UK facility it was imperative that R. A Jones & Co branding and exterior signage was fully in place. “The superb effort you put in for us this week has been greatly appreciated”, said company spokesperson Bev Pamment. “Thanks to you we looked organised, branded and on the ball, and it was noticed. It was important to us to make a good impression and thanks to you we did”.
